The Kaneros framework is the product of an uncommon effort.
The KanerosTM Personality Type Framework was created by Chris Charuhas, an independent scholar in the American grain. That is, he isn’t a European-style academic working in an established discipline with institutional support. Rather, he’s part of the American tradition of committed amateurs seeking advances in emerging fields.
The framework has Jungian roots.
Chris was inspired to create the framework after he had what the psychologist Carl Jung called a “confrontation with the unconscious.” Through this Jungian experience, he gained insights into how the Feminine and Masculine form the core of personality.
It reflects a review of scientific literature.
To validate his insights, Chris reviewed the latest science on the endocrine system and human evolution. He found that his ideas meshed well with what recent studies have revealed about how hormones affect behavior, and that they were consistent with what researchers have learned about our species’ prehistoric life conditions.
It improves upon earlier systems.
Encouraged by his findings, Chris continued his effort to develop a new personality type framework. Curious about the state of the art, he evaluated earlier systems of personality typing, and found that his framework improved upon them in significant ways.
