The Nymph who sees deeply, the Painting Nymph loves to create art. At her core, she’s like Iris, the personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods.
With less-intense Feminine energy than the more-intense Nymphs, the Painting Nymph can step back from things to get a clearer look.
Her natural strength is conveying beauty.
She considers art to be an important part of life, as essential as food in some ways. Creating, appreciating, and/or curating art is what she most likes to do, and what makes her feel most fulfilled.
Because her art draws upon her own vision and feelings, she can sometimes dwell upon her inner life to the exclusion of the outside world. But that inner vision is what makes her special.
What matters most to her is artistic vision.
She feels as deeply as she sees. She’s perceptive. In her heart and mind, she can travel to the underworld or to the heavens, seeing both the ugly and beautiful aspects of life.
Because she perceives how things feel as well as how they look, she’s able to see what others miss: inner essence, untapped potential. Her art will tell you all you want to know about her as an individual.
She looks refined and maybe “artsy.”
The Painting Nymph will have searching eyes. Her aspect will be one of quiet intensity.
She may write, or paint, sculpt or do ceramics. She may take photographs, or cook fine cuisine. She may design graphics or interiors. Sally Mann, artistic photographer, is a good example of a Painting Nymph.
