The Satyr with the singing soul, the Singing Satyr is attuned to sounds, smells, feelings. At his core, he’s like the god Pan, who played beautiful songs on the pipes.
With less intense Feminine energy than a Dancing Satyr, the Singing Satyr concentrates on melodies instead of rhythms.
His natural strength is fostering harmony.
His manner with people is smooth, because he’s sensitive to their signals. He’s cooperative and considerate when he’s part of a group, and uses a deft touch to help ensure that things are done well.
Because he’s attuned to the music of life more than its pedestrian aspects, he can sometimes be unrealistic. But it’s his lyrical sensibilities that make people want to listen to him.
What matters most to him is excellence.
Regardless of how down to earth he is, he’ll eventually figure out how to get where he wants to go. Sensitive to what’s going on, what works and what doesn’t, he will adjust his course accordingly.
Where he wants to go is to a “scene” where people work together to do things that rise above the everyday and commonplace, a place where excellence is evident.
He looks the part.
The Singing Satyr will have shining eyes. He’ll be well- groomed, because he takes pride in looking good.
He may love to sing, or play an instrument, or just love listening to music. Regardless, music is an important part of his life. Quincy Jones, jazz musician, arranger, and pop music producer, is a good example of a Singing Satyr.
